Chelation Therapy has it origins back in 1893 by a French chemist who received the Nobel Prize in 1913 for his
theory of chelates.  In 1935 the Germans produced ethyl-diamine-diamine-tetra-acetate, EDTA.

Professor R. A. Peters found that EDTA could remove compounds in poisonous gas from humans.  In 1947 Dr.
Charles Geschickter used it on cancer patients.

In the 1950’s it was used to treat Michigan, battery plant worker who were exposed to lead poisoning.  The United
States Navy used EDTA to treat sailors exposed to lead paint while painting battleships.  In the 1960’s EDTA was
stockpiled around the United States for wartime emergencies.

Today, this treatment is used for various health issues to include the reversal of the hardening of the arteries.
Doctors who perform this therapy are specially trained in this procedure.  Like the EDTA uses stated above,
dilutions of hydrogen peroxide and other chelates are given to the patient via an intravenous solution, IV.
Chelation therapy is given in a large room with others who are having the same procedure.  Each person sits in a
recliner and the IV is placed on a portable stand so one may go to the restroom if needed.  The patient is free to
read, watch television or engage in conversation with others.  It generally takes from 2 to 3 hours, depending
upon the type of treatment given.

Over 50 years ago, 2 time Nobel Prize winner in medicine, Dr. Otto Warburg, demonstrated the basic difference
between normal cells and cancer cells; both need energy from glucose but the normal cell requires oxygen and
combines with the glucose while the cancer cell does not.  This is why the cancer cell has a great requirement for
sugar and the person who consumes excessive amounts of sugar tend to get more cancers.

Hydrogen peroxide IV Treatments aids the survival of the healthy cell.  The English Medical Journal, The Lancet,
states that hydrogen peroxide IV treatments were successfully used to treat a pneumonia epidemic following
World War I.

In the 1940’s Father Richard Wilhelm promoted hydrogen peroxide and founded the “Educational Concern for
Hydrogen Peroxide", ECHO.  Dr. Charles Farr, Nobel Prize winner in medicine, has shown that hydrogen peroxide
stimulates enzyme systems throughout the body, causes arteries to dilute and increases blood flow.

Hydrogen peroxide is not foreign to the human body.  In fact, it is produced in the body.  The theory behind these
treatments is that by supplying the body with additional oxygen, the body is able to ward off anaerobic (not
requiring oxygen) infections and cancer.

Hydrogen peroxide chelation therapy has been successfully used for treating numerous conditions.  It is not a
magical, cure-for-all, but with other, significant, life-style changes, it certainly can help.
