DANGERS  OF  FLUORIDE

Fluoride is any combination of elements containing the fluoride ion.  Fluorine compounds are listed by the
United States Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry as among the top 20 substances which
pose the most significant threat to human health.

Fluorides are cumulative toxins in the human body.  There are numerous means in which humans are
exposed to fluoride.  Most of the United States population drink fluoridated water every day.  Other means of
exposure are by using Teflon pans, pesticides, eating foods sprayed with pesticides and some pharmaceutical
products such as Prozac contain fluorides.  Drinking soft drinks, orange juice and beer can be a source of
exposure.

The release of airborne contamination can occur in the manufacture of iron, steel, copper, aluminum and
plastics.  High concentrations of these releases have caused health problems and deaths in Belgium in 1930.

Many adverse health affects are associated with fluoride.  It has been linked to osteoporosis by displacing
the calcium and weakening the bones.  The body is only about to eliminate approximately 50% of fluoride.
Fluoride promotes bone and other cancers, shortens the life span and causes mental disturbances.

Fluoride is highly toxic to the liver.  Kidney dialysis patients have died from drinking fluoridated water.  The
malnourished, infants and those who drink large amounts of fluoridated water will receive larger exposure to
fluoride.  Some other adverse effects are hip fractures, joint and ligament calcification, poisoning and death.

Studies have shown that fluoridated cities have higher tooth decay than non-fluoridated cities.  In reality,
fluoride is more likely to damage children's teeth causing fluorosis or white spots on the enamel of teeth.

Nazi Germany was the first to use fluoridated water in their prison camps.  The belief was to sterilize humans
and force them into submission.  The plan was to control populations through mass mediation of their water
supply.  It is unthinkable that the "land of the free" is today following a Nazi regime.

In 1941 fluoride was rightfully considered to be an acute poisoning.  Dr. Morris Fishbein stated that the
symptoms of fluoride poisoning were nausea, vomiting, burning, cramp-like, abdominal pains, diarrhea and
sometimes tremors or convulsions.  Grayish-blue cyanosis can occur.  Urine and blood will show the presence
of fluorides.

One might wonder, how did this toxin get into most United States, cities water supply?  Did it mutate into a
harmless element?  Fluoride is a waste generated in the manufacturing process  of many items and was also
used in the war effort in the 1940's.  It was quite expensive to get rid of said waste.  An ex-aluminum employee
who was made the Secretary of Public Health Administration adopted the idea of dumping fluoride into the
nation's water supply.  Fluoride was first introduced into a city's water supply in 1945.  In the 1950's fluoride
was introduced into toothpaste.

This being a clever move, now a toxic waste is being resold to the unsuspecting public, dumped into the
water supply with its known effects on the human body and the public is paying for this slick move in more
ways than one.  Two grams of fluoride for an adult and 500mg for a child, will cause death.  The average tube
of toothpaste contains 1,500mg of fluoride, enough to kill 3 children if ingested.

Have you ever read the warning label on the back of a tube of toothpaste, it states:
Warning keep out of the reach of children under 6 years of age.  If more than used for brushing is accidentally
swallowed, get medial help or contact a poison control center right away.  Did  I read this right, most
Americans use a product every day that if swallowed they should contact a poison control center?  It sounds
like this fluoride was properly classified as a poison to begin with in the 1940's.

The Food and Drug Administration, FDA, has never approved the use of fluoride.  Why would any  one in
their right mind use this product?  At normal shopping centers it is impossible to find fluoride-free toothpaste.
Baking soda is a natural alternative or fluoride-free toothpaste can be purchased at the health food store.

Numerous countries such as Sweden, Denmark, France, Germany and Great Britain have banned the use of
fluoride in their water supply.  Fluoride consumption in the United States is excessive.  The FDA has ruled that
fluoride is not a needed nutrient.  It is irresponsible for our public officials and health care providers to
advocate the use of fluoride.

If you agree that fluoride has no place in the human body, please let your respective representatives known
how you feel about this serious, health issue.
